The environmental impact assessment report of Weifang Cynda Chemical Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Cynda, was approved by the Chinese local government recently.

The project is located within the existing plant area of Weifang Cynda, and manufactures an annual 300 tons of imazapic, 1,200 tons of imazethapyr acid and 2,000 tons of clethodim, where the existing facilities are utilized as common utilities. The total investment of the project is estimated to be Yuan50 million.
